1099-Independent Quality Assurance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Render Cleaning & Janitorial Services for All of Our Client, including commercial & residentail clients

• Ensure Full Compliance and Enforcement of Safety Protocols Mandated by EPA, CDC, OSHA, GHS and other State & Federal Agencies.

• Conduct scheduled and surprise on-site inspections of residential and commercial client locations.

• Evaluate the cleanliness, safety, and overall quality of cleaning services rendered.

• Complete detailed inspection reports, scorecards, and photographic documentation.

• Identify deficiencies and provide feedback for service improvements.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GHS, and KlutterBox’s internal quality assurance protocols.

• Report equipment usage, chemical handling, and PPE compliance.

• Collaborate with management and cleaning personnel to ensure continuous quality improvement.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in janitorial or facilities quality assurance, commercial cleaning, or custodial supervision.

• Strong knowledge of cleaning equipment, sanitation chemicals, and safety procedures.

• Familiarity with OSHA, GHS, and general safety standards in the cleaning industry.

• Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.

• Ability to use digital inspection tools or mobile inspection reporting apps.

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

• Must pass a background check.

• Must have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform on-site inspections.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States and legally qualify as an independent contractor (Form-1099 status).

• Must have access to a smartphone or tablet with internet access for digital inspection reporting.

Insurance Requirements (Required for All Independent Contractors):

All contractors must provide proof of insurance coverage meeting KlutterBox Cleaning Services’ minimum standards:

Commercial General Liability:

• Each Occurrence: Minimum $1,000,000

• Personal and Advertising Injury: Minimum $1,000,000

• General Aggregate: Minimum $2,000,000

• Products/Completed Operations Aggregate: Minimum $1,000,000 (Must be maintained for at least two (2) years after final payment)

• Additional Insured Endorsement must be included

• Waiver of Subrogation Endorsement must be included

Automobile Liability:

• Combined Single Limit (Each Accident): Minimum $1,000,000

• Coverage must apply to: “Any Auto” or “All Owned Autos”, “Hired Autos”, and “Non-Owned Autos”

  
  

Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability:

• Statutory Limits must be present

• Employer’s Liability – Each Accident: Minimum $100,000

• Employer’s Liability – Disease (Each Employee): Minimum $100,000

• Employer’s Liability – Disease (Policy Limit): Minimum $500,000

Description of Operations Language must include:

“KlutterBox and all others as required by contract are Additional Insured for Ongoing and Completed Operations on a Primary and Non-Contributory basis. Waiver of Subrogation applies. Evidence of Additional Insured status shall be on the ISO form CG 20 43, Additional Insured – Automatic Status When Required In Written Contract or Agreement, which provides automatic insured status for any person or organization for whom the named insured has agreed, in a written contract, to provide coverage.”
