About the Role
The Public Relations & Marketing Internship is a high-autonomy, self-managed role for individuals eager to combine their academic knowledge with real-world application. This unique opportunity is structured to simulate an agency environment—interns will operate as if running their own marketing and PR firm, taking full ownership of campaigns, creative direction, and brand messaging.
Interns will work independently without routine oversight or support from experienced staff, reporting directly to the Managing Director of KlutterBox and the CEO of Yum Num Brands. This role is ideal for self-starters seeking hands-on experience and professional exposure in brand marketing, communications, and media strategy.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Leadership: Plan, develop, and execute end-to-end marketing and public relations campaigns to increase visibility, engagement, and brand awareness.
Content Creation: Write, design, and publish compelling content across platforms—press releases, blogs, social media posts, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
Media Relations & Outreach: Identify and engage with relevant media outlets, influencers, and partners to build relationships and secure press coverage.
Brand Messaging: Define and enhance KlutterBox’s brand identity across multiple channels, ensuring a consistent tone, visual style, and strategic narrative.
Campaign Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of campaign strategies, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring clear records of initiatives.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed campaign performance reports, collect data, track KPIs, and analyze success metrics to inform future strategies.
Presentations & Slide Decks: Design and deliver professional presentations and slide decks to showcase campaign plans, progress updates, and final outcomes to executive leadership.
Creative Innovation: Bring forward innovative ideas and marketing concepts that align with KlutterBox’s mission and resonate with target audiences.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Digital Media, or a related discipline
Strong writing, design, and storytelling skills across digital and traditional platforms
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment with minimal oversight
Proficiency in design and productivity tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft PowerPoint, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc.
Experience creating reports, campaign documentation, and presentations preferred
Innovative mindset with a professional attitude and strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently

Reporting Structure
